In ancient Greece, dream incubation was practiced in sacred temples, where seekers would lie down and invite visions to guide their lives. The word ‘incubation’ (incubare latin, lie down upon/ to sleep on it)
The common patterns is that dreams can be messages from our ancestors, longings or aspirations, a quest for illumination, a portal into another world entirely and the pursuit for paradise.
They are where the mind dances free, weaving symbols and stories.
